Tips on how to cure fear of puddles

My mare did not like walking in puddles and avoided it at all cost. When i tried to teach her that puddles where not dangerous by trying to trot on the puddles she bucked straight before a puddle and i fell right in to it and got soaking wet. She looked at me with a cheeky look on her face like she said "What? I thought you said water was not dangerous" I laughed at her and said "Yeah, yeah you silly girl, i get your point!"Laughing out loud So what I am wondering do any of you have a good tip on how to get a stop on that silliness, not going on puddles or in the water. Would bee fun to see if any of you had any great tips on this. Laughing

Haha, that is pretty silly! Never would have thought horses could be afraid of a little water.

Yeah who knew, but unfortunately they can. There was no way you could get Alcala to walk in puddles...Laughing out loud
